Who can use PickMe

PickMe is for people aged 16 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has an account, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Information we collect

Account information: your email address, phone number if you verify one, username, display name, bio and profile picture.

Content you create: decisions you post, images you attach, votes, predictions, comments and chat messages, and reports or blocks you submit.

Device and notification data: a push notification token if you allow notifications.

Photos and camera: only when you choose to take or attach a photo. We do not access your library otherwise.

Usage data: activity needed to run the app, such as votes, streaks and feed ranking signals.

How we use information

To provide the app: show your decisions and votes, rank the feed, compute analytics and streaks, and deliver notifications.

To keep the community safe: review reports, enforce our Terms, and prevent abuse and spam.

To support you and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Sharing

Content you post (decisions, votes, comments, profile) is visible to other users of the app.

We use service providers to host the app and its database, authenticate users and send notifications. They process data only on our behalf.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

Retention and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete account. Deleting removes your profile, decisions, votes and related content, subject to short backup retention and anything we must keep to meet legal obligations or resolve abuse reports.

If you cannot access the app, email [email protected] from your account address and we will process the deletion.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your profile, turn off notifications in your device settings, and request a copy or correction of your data by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK or California) you may have additional rights to access, port, correct or delete your data, and to object to certain processing.

Security and transfers

We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own.
